Keith Goehner - 12th Legislative District
Keith is a seasoned public servant currently in his third term representing the 12th District, encompassing Chelan County, a portion of Douglas County, and segments of Snohomish and King counties. With a commitment to addressing pressing issues, his legislative focus spans transportation, affordable housing, public safety, and mitigating unfunded mandates on local governments.
A Seattle Pacific University alumni, Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts in education. Before entering politics, he dedicated himself to education as a former school teacher and continues to uphold his family legacy as a third-generation orchardist.
Drawing from his extensive experience in local governance, Keith brings invaluable insights to his legislative role. He notably served four terms as a Chelan County Commissioner and held elected positions in various organizations, including the Winter Pear Committee, Blue Star Growers Board, and Peshastin-Dryden School Board.
Beyond his governmental roles, Keith actively engages in community service. He contributes his time and expertise to organizations like the Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene Board, Rotary, Confluence Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Cascade Education Foundation. Furthermore, he shares his passion for sports by coaching youth basketball and baseball teams.
Keith and his wife, Lisa, have celebrated 48 years of marriage while raising their three children on their cherished family orchard in Dryden. Together, they take pride in their seven grandchildren, embodying Keith's commitment to fostering a strong and vibrant community for generations to come.
