Leonard Christian - 4th Legislative District
Representative Leonard Christian serves in the 4th Legislative District and grew up in the Spokane area. He married his high school sweetheart just 9 days after graduation from Ferris HS and joined the Air Force 2 weeks later. After a distinguished career working as an aircraft mechanic, shop chief, recruiter, and security manager, he retired in 2005 and returned to Spokane Valley to start a second career in real estate. Representative Christian earned his bachelor’s degree from Embry Riddle University and went on to obtain a master’s degree in business administration from Websters University.
Representative Christian currently is the assistant ranking member on the State Government and Tribal Relations Committee and has served on the Spokane County GOP board as a district leader. He also volunteered taught aircraft mechanics at Moody Bible in Spokane and as a search and rescue pilot for Civil Air Patrol. When he finds a few minutes of free time, he enjoys flying and taking walks with his wife of 40 years. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Representative Christian is deeply connected with the Spokane community and is honored to serve the citizens of the 4th Legislative District.
