Paul has called the 17th District home for over 45 years. He and his wife Lori, married for 49 years, have five children and nine grandchildren.

He earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Business Administration from BYU and took office in 2010. A small business owner, he previously owned Cascade Paint and Supply, served as VP of Miller Paint, and now runs Solid Solutions, LLC. He believes small businesses drive the economy and advocates for policies that foster job growth.

He’s received numerous legislative awards, including the 2023 WCAAP David Frockt Child Advocate Award and the 2019 National Distinguished Advocacy Award from the American Cancer Society.

Paul’s priorities in Olympia include keeping taxes low, fiscal responsibility, reducing regulations on businesses, and ensuring quality education. Committed to public health and strong communities, he works in a non-partisan manner to serve his district.

He enjoys music, sings in his church choir, plays basketball, water skis, and even learned to surf behind a boat in 2019!
