This included Senate Bill 6452, which provides mental health services to children, pregnant women, and new mothers. Furthermore, Senate Bill 6514 was created by Senator Brown to help higher education institutions combat suicide and promote behavioral health.
Her recent triumphs include helping pass the Residential Construction Recovery Act and creating the Invest in Washington Jobs Pilot Program, both of which have changed the lives of businesses and employees alike.
