Terry Harder - 29th Legislative District
Terry has lived in Pierce County for over 60 years and has spent the last 26 years living in Washington’s 29th Legislative District.
Terry has an Associate Degree in Electronics and a Black Belt in Aikido, and is very active in his church and community. He has been a Precinct Committee Officer for 14 years in Tacoma.
He is also the co-founder of “Operation Support Our Troops.” In an 11-year span, his organization sent 172,000+ holiday packages to troops overseas. Operation Support Our Troops was instrumental in getting the I-5 overpass at exit 122 renamed “Freedom Bridge!”
OSOT worked with Fischer house to support military families during surgery donating many items necessary for a long stay and Airline miles to help the families travel to JBLM. They regularly put on Christmas parties for the Warriors transition Battalion at Madigan Hospital for those who could not get home for the holidays.
Terry has 3 grown children all Army Vets, and two combat vets. Terry also has 8 grandchildren 3 of that live in pierce county.
